Belly close up...good luck my little butterfly at surviving the next 9 months;)
Week: 4
P Size: About 0.014 inch to 0.04 inch, or half the size of this letter (o). Crazy how small P is right now
Total Weight Gain/loss: none
Stretch Marks: none
Maternity Clothes?: nope
Sleep: Very Exhausted all day. I take a nap each day that last about 1-2 hours. W is working out of town and can not call until around 10:30 or 11 so I end up trying to stay up and then have a second wind that interferes with going to sleep. Each day since I have known I have woken up before 5:30 am, and not for any practical reason except I am starving. I eat and then can sleep for another hour or so.
Movement: too small
What I Miss: Not being tired all the time. Oh and not having to live in the bathroom...it seems I have to pee every hour!
Status of the Button: Very In
What I'm Looking Forward to: Telling W when he gets home. Oh and then finally not having to keep this secret!!
Best Moment this Week: Finding out our little P was burrowing their way into my uterus!
Preggers Bod-New and Exciting!..maybe?: nothing new, yet. Boobies are little sore in certain places but nothing too bad. Some mild stomach pains. I am not sure if it is hunger/gas/or cramping...
P Milestones: The germ layers developed this week. The ectodrem, endoderm and mesoderm are the three layers. The ectoderm will become the nervous system(including the brain), the skin and the hair. The endoderm will develop into the lining of the gastrointestinal tract, the liver, pancreas, and thyroid. From the mesoderm comes the skeleton, connective tissues, blood system, urogenital system and most of the muscles. Wow...that is pretty amazing!
Food Cravings: Orange Juice
How's the W?: In Unalakeet working. It is killing me not being able to talk about all these changes with someone. I am very excited for him to get home so I can shock him with the news! He will be so excited once the shock wears off since we have been preparing for this for awhile! I like this phrase and it is so true to our situation...
We are preparing for this incredibly happy accident. The timeline has changed, but the itinerary has not! So excited for little P!
